Hunter's Hot Head

This is a very dense, warm skull-ike cap with a picot edge. The folded edge on the inside provides an extra layer of protection around the ears and forehead. Very quick, very easy to knit up in one evening. Try a new technique! Repeat always twisting with A OVER B, and B OVER A. You will need to untwist the yarns occasionally by dangling your work and letting the twist unwind out. It helps to pull a long bit out of the ball of yarn before twining again. Also; I used every bit of 1 skein. Pattern: Cast on 86 sts. Join in the round making sure there is no twist. Knit in stockinette stitch 10 rounds. Picot edge: $^{*}\mathrm{kl}$ , k2tog, yo, \* repeat Using the twined knitting technique, start twining for approximately $5\,\%$ :: Decrease round 1: $\ast\mathbf{k}4$ , k2tog, \*repeat, k2 72 sts. total K 1 rnd. Fold brim at picot edge and sew using mattress stitch to the inside of the hat. Weave in all ends. Put on your hunter's head and rest assured, even if Bambi isn't safe, he will be!!!
