Cuff
Caston60[64:68] sts Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker to show the beginning of the round. Round 1: (K2, P2) repeat to end. Work this round 17 more times.
Leg - Right Sock

Heel Flap
Turn work so ws is facing. Heel flap will now be worked back and forth on the next 30 [32:34] sts, begin with a ws row. Keep remaining 30 [32:34] sts on hold for instep. Row 1 (WS): Sl1 wyif, P29 [31:33] Row 2 (RS): (Sl1 wyib, K1) to last st, K1 Work these 2 rows 13 [14:15] more times, then work row 1 once more.
Turn Heel
Row 1 (RS): Sl1 wyib, K16 [16:18], SSK, K1 turn Row 2 (WS): Sl1 wyif, P5 [7:5], P2tog, P1, turn Row 3: Sl1 wyib, K to 1 st before gap, SSK, K1, turn Row 4: Sl1 wyif, P to 1 st before gap, P2tog, P1, turn Repeatrows3and4untilallstshavebeenworked. 18[20:22] heel sts remain.
Gusset
Set-up rnd: Sl1, K17 [19:21], pick up and knit 16 [17:18] sts along edge of heel flap, place marker 1, work 30 [32:34] instep sts continuing insert pattern as established, place marker 2, pick up and knit 16 [17:18] sts down side of heel flap, knit to marker 1. (Marker 1 is nowthestartoftheround) Rnd 1: Work 30 [32:34] instep sts continuing insert pattern as established, slip marker 2, K1, ssK, knit until 3 stitches before marker 1, k2tog, k1. Rnd 2: Work 30 [32:34] instep sts continuing insert pattern asestablished,knit toendofround. Repeat these 2 rounds until 60 [64:68] sts remain, 30 [32:34]eachoninstepandsole. (Leave markers in position to use when shaping toe).
Foot
Continue working evenly inpattern asset until foot measures approximately 21[23: 25] cm from back of heel or 4cm/112in less than the desired foot length, ending with row 8, 9 or 10 of pattern.
Toe
Rnd 1: K1, SSK, knit to 3 sts before marker 2, K2tog, K1, slip marker, K1, SSK, knit until 3 sts remain, K2tog, K1 Rnd2:Knit Repeat these 2 rounds until 24 [26:28] sts remain. Cut yarn leaving a 30cm/12in tail. Graft stitches together using Kitchener Stitch. Weave in ends.
