Candy Corn Fingerless Mitts

By Kimberly and Alida Gintar We knit these stripey Candy Corn Fingerless Mitts with yarn we dyed ourselves with KoolAid. We knit a size L for my adult hand and M for a my 9-year-old daughter's hand. In order to get about 5 stripes of yellow, 10 stripes of orange and 5 stripes of white we wound our yarn around two chairs that were about 632 (432) inches apart. We then marked off 3 sections; 158 (108) inches for the yellow section, 316 (216) inches for the orange section and 158 (108) inches for the white section. We then dyed the two skeins together according to the sections. If you would like to see how we did it, pleasewatchour video at http://www.podcast.thegivingflower.de/episodes/25- episode-19a-dyeing-candy-corn-striped-yarn Size: Large for an adult hand about 8 inches around knuckles.
