Coffee Cozy Crochet Pattern by Eva's Studio

Designed for perfect fit of most paper coffee cups, shown here on a 16 ounce and can be used at home on glasses to personalize them.
What you will need:
1 skeins yarn 1o0% cotton. I used brand (l used brand "Peaches&Creme") brown color - crochet hook size H/8-5.00 mm -yarnneedle -scissors
For butterfly you will need:
- yarn for heart - crochet hook size H/8-5.00 mm - 2 buttons - needle and thread for attaching the hearts Let's start! chain 33, (be careful don't twist the chain) connect with a slip stitch (Sl St).


ROUND 1: Chain 2, this counts as the first double crochet (DC) join 32 DC to every stitch from chain, Sl St to the top of the chain two to connect the round, 33 stitches (ST) total ROUND 2- 6 : Chain 1, this counts as the first Half double crochet (HDC) join 32 HDC around, SI St to the top of the chain one to connect the round. 33 ST total

This is after round 6 ROUND 7: : Chain 2, this counts as the first double crochet (DC) join 32 DC around, SI St to the top of the chain two to connect the round. 33 ST total

Finishing:
Cut the free threads, sew or wave the end of yarn on back side of the cozy
Let's start with the butterfly!

We will start to create loop. Longer yarn (cross) loops under the end of yarn pull out yarn and create loop

This is how the loop should look

This is a loop and chain 4 stitches, this counts as the first triple crochet (TRC)

Join 3 triple crochet (TRC)

Chain 4 stitches

and SI ST to the loop

Chain 2 stitches The same steps continue on another side of butterfly

Chain 2 stitches, 2 Double crochet, chain 2 stitches and SL ST to the loop

2 Double crochet, chain 2 stitches and SL ST to the loop

Draw the loop tight and create the butterfly

Chain 4 stitches, 3 Triple crochet, chain 4 stitches and SI ST to the loop

Wrap the body of butterfly with yarn and finish with 2 knots.

Cut the free threads, sew or weave the end of yarn on the back side of butterfly. Now sew the butterfly and buttons on the cozy.
