Candy Corn Hat Crochet Pattern.

Materials: stitch marker, measuring tape. Yarn: Two strands of worsted weight cotton held together (recommended brands are Lily Sugar'n Cream, Peaches & Creme, Lion Brand Cotton, or Bernat Handicrafter Cotton.) Acrylic yarn can also be used, check gauge. Or, as an alternative, you can use one strand of super bulky ("6" weight) yarn, like Lion Brand Hometown USA, see example here: http://www.lionbrand.com/yarns/hometownUSA.html Gauge: given in pattern. Hook size: "N" (9 mm) hook, (I use Boye brand crochet hooks), smaller size may be needed for brim.

Rnd 1: magic ring, ch 1, 5 sc in ring, join with sl st in first sc. (5 s( Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st to end of rnd.
