Italian Chain Ribbed Scarf Pattern: A Knitting Project with Texture and Style for Fashion Accessories

Italian Chain Ribbed Scarf

This scarf was created using the Italian Chain Rib stitch from Barbara Walker's A Treasury of Knitting Patterns. Gauge is not important for this project. Here in Texas, we often use scarves as fashion accessories rather than for warmth! You can make this scarf as long and wide as you'd like by increasing the pattern repeats and continuing on with more than one skein of yarn. The yarn shown is Caron Country in Ocean Spray. The result is a pretty scarf with interesting texture on both sides. Measurements for the sample are: 48" in length, 3" in width.
