A wee little pouch to hold your wee little treasures. Finished pouch measures 2" tall and 2" wide.
Materials:
Approximately 15 yards of worsted weight yarn Size8needles 1Button TapestryNeedle Small amount of fabric for lining (optional) Needle and thread for sewing lining to the inside of pouch (optional)
Pattern:
CO 14 stitches Row 1: \*K1, P1\* across Row 2: \*P1, K1\* across Repeat these 2 rows of seed stitch until your piece measures 2". Next row: BO 7 stitches at the beginning of the row. Knit to end of row. Next row: \*P1, K1\* to end, P1 Repeat this row for 1.5" from bind off row. Next row: P1, K1, P1, YO, K1, P1, K1, P1 BO all stitches. Your knitting should look like this:

Fold the piece in half so that A meets B and C meets D. Sew the bottom and side closed. Sew the button to the front of the pouch so that it will line up with the buttonhole. Line the pouch if it strikes your fancy. This pouch is perfect for holding your stitch markers, loose change, or other little sparkly treasures!
