200 g Ullcentrum Linea linen yarn (100 g is enough for about 115 cm) Needles 5 mm/US 8
Abbreviations:
st = stitch k = knit p = purl ks = selvedge stitch sl1, k1, psso = slip 1, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over k2 tog = knit 2 together incr = increase yfon = yarn forward and over needle st st - stockinette stitch (k on RS, p on WS) RS = right side WS = wrong side Tips for selvedge stitch: Knit until last stitch. Lift the last stitch with the yarn in front as if to purl it, turn Knit the first stitch through the back loop

Scarf:
Cast on47 st Follow the diagram with a selvedge stitch at the beginning and end of ea row until work measures180 cm or desired length Castoff Fringe (optional): Cut suitably long strands. Put strands together and fold in half. With crochet hook, draw centre of strands through first stitch of cast-on edge of scarf, forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through this loop. In this manner, make fringe in each stitch across entire caston edge of scarf. Repeat for bound-off edge of scarf. Trim fringe to even off, if necessary. @ Ann Linderhjelm
