Instructions: This pattern is 40 meshes wide. Starting at bottom right of pattern, ch amount needed for starting chain and to complete first block (see above). Continue following pattern for first row reading pattern from right to left. After completing the row, ch3 and turn to start next row. Continue following pattern until all rows are complete. Edging: Not usually required but samples are shown below. Finishing: Wash piece according to directions on thread. Block on a towel and roll (jellyroll style) to aid drying. When dry, lightly starch (if desired) and iron.

This edging pattern works for patterns whose total rows are odd numbered (3,5,7, etc)
