R1: K2, $^{*}\mathrm{P}1$ ， $\mathrm{K}1^{*}$ , repeat to last stitch, K1 R2: K1, P1, $\ast\mathrm{Kl}$ ， $\mathbf{P}1^{*}$ repeat to last stitch, K1 R3: K1, P1, $\ast\mathrm{Kl}$ ， $\mathbf{P}1^{*}$ repeat to last stitch, K1 R4: K2, $^{*}\mathrm{P}1$ ， $\mathrm{K}1^{*}$ , repeat to last stitch, K1 Repeat 4 rows for 3.5 inches Work in a 1:1 rib for 1 inch, knit the first and last stitch on every row.
