CHUNKY SNOWFLAKE HEADBAND
This headband knits up quickly in super chunky yarn and will keep your ears warm all winter long. This pattern is worked in the round , but you may also knit it flat and sew together if you prefer.
MATERIALS
Super chunky yarn (8wpi) \~30g/32yd in white \~20g/23yd in light blue Set of 4 size US 9 (5.5mm) double-pointed needles
DIRECTIONS

Size: Adult medium Finished measurements: 19" circumference, 4" tall Gauge: 14s per 4", 5r/1" in Stockinette Stitch Directions: With white yarn, loosely cast on 62 stitches in k1 p1 ribbing Divide stitches onto three needles, join into the round, and work three rounds of k1 p1 ribbing. Switch to light blue yarn and knit one round, YO at end of the round. (Next round, knit this last stitch through the back of the stitch to twist.) Next 9 rows, refer to chart for color work. Repeat the chart a total of 7 times around.

After completing chart, work one round in light blue, then cut light blue yarn, leaving a 6" tail. Knit one round in white, then work 3 rows of k1 p1 ribbing. Bind off very loosely in k1 p1 ribbing. Weave in tails and enjoy your headband.
