The terms for using PattGen, your account, crochet patterns, creation tools and membership.

1. Using PattGen
These terms govern your use of pattgen.com and its crochet tools, content and account services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Privacy practices are explained in our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use the service where you live. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, use PattGen with a parent or guardian’s permission.
2. Your account and access
Use accurate account information and protect access to your Google account, email inbox and passkeys. Google sign-in, passkeys and email links are supported access methods; PattGen does not ask you to create a password. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your projects and third-party patterns
You keep the rights you hold in patterns, models, images and other material you provide. You give PattGen permission to store, process and display that material only as needed to provide the features you choose, protect the service and comply with law. Saving a project to your account does not publish it to the public World library.
Upload and use only material you have permission to use. Publicly available patterns, creator credits, brands and third-party content remain subject to their owners’ rights and any applicable license. A free preview or AI-assisted output does not grant permission to copy or sell someone else’s protected work. Share links can be accessed by anyone you give the link to.
4. Pattern and AI limitations
Patterns, conversions, AI suggestions and 3D previews are creative aids. They can contain errors or differ from a finished crochet object. Review stitch counts, construction, sizing, materials and suitability, and test-crochet before relying on an output or offering it for sale. We do not guarantee that an output is unique, free of third-party rights or suitable for a particular purpose.
5. Membership and making credits
Available features, usage allowances, prices and billing intervals are shown on the membership page and at checkout. A paid service is available only when checkout is enabled. A recurring membership renews on the schedule shown at checkout until cancelled. You can manage an active subscription through your account or contact support. Cancellation normally stops future renewal; access continues through the paid period shown in your account.
Making credits and rate limits apply to the features described on the site. Credits are service allowances, have no cash value and do not guarantee a usable result. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests. Nothing in these terms limits refunds, withdrawal rights or other consumer rights required by applicable law.

6. Use the service responsibly
Do not use PattGen for unlawful activity, infringement, harassment, malicious uploads, unauthorized access, scraping that disrupts the service, or attempts to bypass usage limits or security controls. We may restrict or suspend access to investigate abuse, protect users, comply with law or address a material breach. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to contact support.
7. Availability and responsibility
We may update features or interrupt service for maintenance, security or operational reasons. Keep your own exported copies of important work; browser drafts can be lost if browser storage is cleared. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Any exclusion of warranties or liability applies only where the law allows it; your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Closing your account and changes to these terms
You can stop using PattGen at any time and request account deletion through support. Cancelling a paid subscription is a separate step; manage it in your account or ask support for help. We may update these terms and will change the date above. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes before they take effect.
