How PattGen handles account details, private projects, Google sign-in, support requests and website data.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the PattGen team handles personal information when you visit pattgen.com, use our tools or contact support. For privacy questions or requests, contact supports@pattgen.com.

2. Information we handle

Account information: your email address, maker name, account identifier, sign-in method, account status, membership and usage records. When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides a unique account identifier, email address, email verification status and, if available, your display name. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, contacts or Drive.

Authentication information: passkey public keys and credential metadata, short-lived verification or sign-in tokens, and session identifiers. A passkey’s private key remains with your authenticator; it is not sent to PattGen. Google identity tokens are verified for sign-in and are not used to access other Google services.

Creative material: patterns, project titles, thumbnails, making progress, uploaded models or images, and prompts you choose to submit. Browser drafts and local projects use browser storage. Projects you save to your account are stored on our servers to support syncing across devices. Using a cloud or AI feature can send the material needed for that operation to the relevant service provider.

Technical and support information: IP address, browser and device information, request times, security and error logs, rate-limit records, and messages or attachments you send to support. When payments are available, our payment provider processes payment details; PattGen stores relevant customer, subscription and transaction references rather than full card details.

3. Why we use information

We use information to verify and manage accounts, provide and sync projects, run the features you request, apply membership and usage limits, process subscriptions where enabled, reply to support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and meet legal obligations. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required, and applicable legal obligations.

4. Service providers and sharing

Cloudflare provides website hosting, database, object storage, session storage, security and transactional email delivery. Feishu/Lark handles incoming support email. Google provides the optional Google sign-in interface and identity verification. If enabled and used, Stripe processes payments, and AI or model providers such as Cloudflare Workers AI, OpenRouter and Replicate process the inputs needed for the selected feature. Providers handle data under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

Support mail is routed to the team’s support inbox. We share information with service providers as needed to deliver the service, with a recipient you choose when sharing a project, or when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. Account projects are private by default. We do not sell personal information or use your projects for targeted advertising.

5. Cookies, browser storage and measurement

We use necessary session cookies and short-lived sign-in cookies to keep you signed in and protect authentication. Browser storage holds drafts, preferences and making progress. The Google sign-in interface loads on sign-in and registration pages and may use Google’s cookies or browser identity features. Clearing cookies signs you out; clearing site storage can remove local work, so export anything you want to keep.

Optional analytics are disabled by default in the current deployment. If enabled in the future, non-essential measurement will require any consent required by applicable law. Our analytics integration is designed to exclude pattern contents, prompts, account email addresses, sign-in tokens and private share fragments from event payloads.

6. Retention and international processing

We keep account and saved-project information while needed to provide your account and requested services. Authentication challenges and sign-in links expire. Security, support, payment and compliance records may be kept for a limited period appropriate to their purpose and legal requirements. Deleting a project removes its active saved content; minimal deletion markers may remain for sync. Backups and provider records may persist until their retention cycles complete.

Cloudflare and other providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use applicable contractual and other safeguards for international data transfers. No online service can promise absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can choose whether to use Google sign-in, save projects to your account, upload material or use optional AI features. You can delete saved projects in your library and revoke PattGen’s Google connection in your Google account. Revoking Google access does not by itself delete your PattGen account or cancel a subscription.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority. Email supports@pattgen.com to exercise these rights or request account deletion. We may verify your identity and may retain information where law or legitimate operational needs require it. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

8. Children

PattGen is not directed to children under 13 or anyone below the minimum age required locally. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact support so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the date above. We will provide further notice where required for a material change. Please contact supports@pattgen.com with any privacy question or concern.
