Advent Wreath Pin
Materials: Light worsted weight yarn (green, pink, purple, yellow) Size E (3.5 mm) hook Yarn needle Abbreviations: Ch = chain sc = single crochet sk = skip 1 stitch sl st = slip stitch hdc = half-double crochet dc shell = 5 double crochet in one stitch Instructions: Wreath (in green): Ch 28, join to first chain to form ring Rnd 1: 28 sc Rnd 2: (sk, dc shell, sk, sc) around Candles (3 purple, 1 pink): Ch 5 Row 1: turn, sk, 4 sc Row 2: turn, ch1, 4 sc Flames (in yellow, make 4): Ch 5 Row 1: turn, sk 2, hdc, sc, sl st Assembly: Pull tails from flame through to bottom (rounded part) of flame and use them to sew the flames to the candle. Pull one tail through the candle and used both tails to sew the candles to the wreath. Tuck in all remaining tails and trim them short.
