Brenda's Rasta Fantástica
a/k/a "15 on 15" A quick and easy seed stitch cowl, with a twist I learned how to make this cowl from my knitting friend Brenda, a true Rasta aficionado. She says she always knits this cowl because it is quick and easy and makes the perfect gift. I've handwritten the instructions numerous times because knitters are always asking for something quick and easy in Rasta. You see, the shelf with the Rasta yarn is right next to the table where we all sit and knit at Knitty City (best LYS ever). So I was inspired to formalize it into an actual pattern for more knitters to enjoy.

Yarn: 1 skein (90.0 yards / 82.3m) of Malabrigo Rasta (or any super bulky yarn) Needles: size 15 US / 10mm Gauge: unnecessary Cast on 15 stitches K1, P1 across every row until you have used most of your yarn. (You will need enough yarn to bind off and still have a long tail with which to sew the edges together.) Bind off. Twist into a mobius (180%). Sew the cast on edge to the bind off edge. (Of course, you might not want a twist, in which case just sew the edges together without twisting.) Weave in your ends. Voila!
