One 300 yd ball Aunt Lydia's Double Strand cotton crochet thread (similar to size 3 thread) 3.25mm crochet hook

About 1 3% inch across at end of Rnd 1
Stitch Pattern
Rnd 1: Ch 9, dc in ninth ch from hook (8 skipped chs count as first tr plus ch 4), ch 4, (tr, ch 4, dc, ch 4) twice in same ch; join with sl st to first tr. (3 tr, 3 dc, and 6 ch-3 sps) Stitch Note: There should be a tail of thread showing in the back side of Rnd 1. Use this tail to identify the Wrong Side while working.
Rnd 2: Ch 7 (counts as first tr plus ch 3, now and throughout), dc in same st, ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 3, \*(dc, ch 3, tr, ch 3,dc) in next tr, ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 3; rep from \* once more, dc in same st as first tr, ch 3; join with sl st to first tr. (12 sts and 12 ch3 sps)
Rnd 3: Ch 7, dc in same st, ch 3, (dc in next dc, ch 3) 3 times, \*(dc, ch 3, tr, ch 3, dc) in next tr, ch 3, (dc in next dc, ch 3) 3 times; rep from \* once more, dc in same st as first tr, ch 3; join with sl st to first tr. (18 sts and 18 ch3 sps) Rnd 4: Ch 7, dc in same st, ch 3, (dc in next dc, ch 3) 5 times, \*(dc, ch 3, tr, ch 3, dc) in next tr, ch 3, (dc in next dc, ch 3) 5 times; rep from \* once more, dc in same st as first tr, ch 3; join with sl st to first tr. Fasten Off.
Thong Bottoms
Follow pattern directions Rnd 1--4 to make triangular front piece. If you want to sew in a fabric liner this is a great time to trace the piece on paper for cutting out fabric later. Make a smaller triangle for the thong back using Rnd 1 of stitch pattern directions. Do Not Fasten off after Rnd 1. Instead, Ch 25 (for thong tail), join with sl st to corner of front piece where you fastened off. Rnd 1: Work 3 sc into each open space all around the front triangular piece, sc into the 25 chs (thong tail), work 4 sc into each open space all around the small triangle at the back of the thong, join with sl st at beg of thong tail, ch 1,working in opposite side of ch \* hdc in back of next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, rep from \* to end of chain, sl st in corner st of front triangular piece. Fastenoff.
Waist Ties
Row 1: Ch 100, join with sc at top corner of front triangular piece, sc across upper edge, ch 100, turn. Row 2: Sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc into each ch across, sc in each sc across top of front, sc into each ch across to end, turn. Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as hdc and ch 1), skip last sc of previous row, \*hdc into next sc, ch 1, skip 1 sc, rep from \* to end, hdc into sc at beg of previous row. Bra Top
Follow Pattern directions Rnds 1 - 4 for each bra cup. Do Not Fasten off after Rnd 4. If you want to sew in a fabric liner, this would be a great time to trace the piece onto paper now to cut out your fabric later.
Inner Cup Edge
Row 1 (RS): With RS facing, ch 1, work 20 sc evenly across one side of piece, turn. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 hdc and 1 ch), \*hdc into next sc, ch 1, skip 1 sc, rep from \* to end, hdc into last sc, turn. Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each hdc and each ch sp across row. Fasten off. (20sc) Repeat as above for second bra cup.
Outer Cup Edge and Strap
For Left Cup Row 1 (WS): Ch 100, with WS facing, work 20 sc evenly across opposite side of piece, turn. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc and ch across, turn. Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each dc and each ch sp across row. Fasten off. Weave in loose ends. (42sc) Sew in fabric liner if you wish.
