Two different options to make with an unusual material and just two colors!! Nylon Craft Ribbon is a good material to use in the shower because it dries quickly, but jute or other natural fiber, or even a polyester yarn are good options to create these cute buddies for the bath time:
PLATYPUS

You can place a soap bar inside and use the cord to close it and hang it. Or stuff it with filling material and use it as a toy everywhere else!!

NOTES
The semi-circular forms of the beak and tail are given by using slst at the beginning and end of some rows. Just remember to consider the slip stitches in the instructions to get the correct number of stitches in a row. The upper and bottom parts of the body are sewn together at both sides. You can either sew the sides first and then position the limbs, or sew first the front limb on each side in a way that you can insert a finger in it, and then continue closing.
