Akua's Daisies
I have learned soooo much on the internet and been comforted by other thread and yarn bearers! I love flowers and am now working on another flower pattern collection. I like dimensional flowers, but am impatient: if a flower takes more than 90 minutes, it's not for me (as certain chrysanthemum patterns do).

Adjustable ring
Make a slip knot with your yarn leaving 3" long tail, leaving center loop open. Insert hook in top loop. yarn over and draw up loop. This is your Chain 1. (Do not count this as your first sc). Crochet over center loop and the yarn tail for the designated # of stitches in the first round. When finished, pull the tail to close the ring. Slip stitch (slst) Insert hook in next st, yarn over and draw through all loops. itch and draw up a loop (2 loops on hook), yarn over, draw through both loops on hoc Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (three loops on hook) Yarn over and draw through two loops( two loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through two loops.
Treble Crochet (trc)
Yarn over twice, insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (four loops on hook) Yarn over and draw through two loops (three on loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through two loops (two loops on hook ). Yarn over and draw through last two loops
Working in continuous rounds
R1 In adjustable ring, ch1, 5 sc in ring: 5 sc R2 Sc in each sc: 5 sc R3 Sc in each sc: 5 sc R4 \*SI st, ch 3, trc, (make picot: ch 2, sl st in first ch), trc, ch 3, sl st\*, in each sc: 5 petals Fasten off. Weave in ends Variation R1 In adjustable ring, ch 1, 5 sc in ring: 5 sc R2 Sc in each sc: 5 sc R3 Sc in each sc: 5 sc R4 \*SI st, ch 3, 2 trc, ch 3, sl st\*, in each sc: 5 petals Fasten off. Weave in ends
Variation (two colors)
With color A: R1 In adjustable ring, ch 1, 5 sc in ring: 5 sC R2 Sc in each sc: 5 sc R3 Sc in each sc, sl st to first sc, fasten off.
