Akua's Daisies
I have learned soooo much on the internet and been comforted by other thread and yarn bearers! I love flowers and am now working toward another flower pattern collection. I like dimensional flowers, but am impatient: if a flower takes more than 90 minutes, it's not for me (as certain chrysanthemum patterns do). Anyway $1^{\prime}\mathsf{m}$ delighted to have decoded my improvisation and refined it. And along the way, I've imprinted my own daisy, as I couldn't find my Daisy pattens. (I know you all may be thinking, she could just look them up, but once I'm out of the wheelchair, that's it for awhile and my bed is another worksite with table, hooks, yarns at one side, patterns notes and tools in a huge canvas bag at the other).
Stitches
Adjustable ring Chain ch Slip stitch sl st Single crochet SC Double crochet dc Treble Crochet trc
Adjustable ring
Make a slip knot with your yarn leaving $3^{\,\prime\prime}$ long tail, leaving center lop open. Insert hook in top loop. yarn over and draw up loop. This is your Chain 1. Do not count this as your first sc). Crochet over center loop and the yarn tail for the designated $\#$ of stitches in the first round When finished, pull the tail to closethe ring.
Slip stitch (slst)
Insert hook in next st, yarn over and draw through all loops.
Single crochet (sc)
Insert hookinnextstitch and drawupaloop (2 lops onhok), yarn over, draw through both loops on hook. Double Crochet (dc) Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch and drawup a loop (three loops onhook) Yarn over and draw through two loops two loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through two loops.
Treble Crochet (trc)
Yarn over twice, insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (four loops on hook) Yarn over and draw through two loops (three on loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through two loops (two loops on hook ). Yarn over and draw through last two loops
So here's Akua's Daisy
In adjustable ring, ch1, 5 sc in ring: 5 sc in each sc: 5 sc sc in each sc: 5 sc \*s st, ch3, tc, (ch2, sl st: picot), trc, ch3, slst\*, in each sc: 5 petals Fasten off.
