RIBBONWINNER SCARF
One Ball each of 4 yarns....here are some ideas: 1. Soft Great-to-touch Velvety yarn..maybe \*"Touch Me” from Muench, etc. 2. Crystal Palace \*“Little Flowers", Plymouth “Electra”, or Karabella “Magic” or similar sparkly “fans"/"brushes”? novelty yarn 3.Plymouth $^{66}24\mathrm{K}^{99}$ or similarly sparkly yarn 4. Berroco “Softy", or similar soft, fluffy yarn, with blobby things or eyelashes LongCircularNeedle $24^{\circ}$ ormore:UsSize9or10 Finishedmeasurements: $3~\%^{99}\times60^{99}$ Cast on (200 stitches) using the yarn you want for the side edges. If using long-tail cast on, Knit 1 row, then cut yarn $6{-}7^{\circ}$ inches long and change to a different yarn. If using backward loop $(^{66}{\mathrm{e}}^{\circ})$ cast on, Knit 2 rows, then cut and change yarns. Tie a knot to start the new yarn, then knit 2 rows. Cut and tie a knot after every $2^{\mathrm{nd}}$ row or whenever you feel like it. You can use yarns $\#2-\#4$ as often as you like, however, if you only have a small amount of one yarn, plan to use it only now & then as an accent (it takes 13-15 yards for each 2-row “stripe"). Plan to end with the same yarn you started with. Knit 1 row, then bind off veryLOOSELY on next row. Add fringe to the bare spots on each end of the scarf and make sure all knots are secure. Trim fringes.
