Special Notes:

Note I : When changing colors/yarn within the row for intarsia, bring the new color up from underneath the yarn In progress to avoid creating a hole between the 2 Colors. Note 2: After working the bottom Seed st border, the wrap will be worked in 3 intarsia sections: 7 Seed sts in CCi on right edge, 60-72 sts stockinette in MC, 7 Seed sts in CC2. Refer to the schematic drawing. Note 3: If another yarn is substituted for the Gima that has more body and weight/thickness, omit the increasing and decreasing rows and work stockinette panels with JUst the 6O original sts. Row 5: (RS) With CCl,\*KI, Pl\* rep from \* to \* 3 times, Kl, with MC, K72, with CC2, \*Pl, KI\* rep from \*to \* 3 times, P1. Repeat Rows 5 丰 6 until approx. 7 V2 inches have been worked in the MC area (measure along seed st edge for the best accuracy). End having completed a RS row. Note 4: The first skein of CC used will be called CC1 and the second skein to be joined on the left side border will be called CC2. Divider bars (see schematic) will be alternated with CCI CC2. Note 5: When working the Divider bars of one of the CC skeins, remember to weave in the opposite CC 丰 MC skein up the back of the piece to keep from having long floats of yarn on the wrong side of the piece. Note 6: The numbered rows are not consecutive and

Bind off loosely in pattern. Break yarn. Weave in all yarn talls. Special note: When weaving in the Gima yarn tails I felt on this occasion that making tiny knots was the best way to secure the ends to prevent them from coming loose. This was just my preference.
