Crochet Pattern for Amigurumi Firecracker Popsicle with Mini Grape Double Popsicle Bonus

As a kid, my favorite summer treat was the Firecracker Popsicle. Here, I've recreated one in amigurumi form! Crochet your very own Firecracker, complete with popsicle stick and smile! BONUS! Crochet the mini grape double popsicle too

Materials:

yarn in red, white, blue and tan (firecracker) yarn in purple and tan (grape popsicle) H hook (firecracker) G hook (grape popsicle) 9mm safety eyes black embroidery thread embroidery needle yarn needle stuffing scissors

Stitch Key:

ch- chain sS- slip stitch sc- single crochet hdc- half double crochet dc- double crochet inc- increase dec- decrease FO- fasten off

Firecracker Pattern Instructions:

Stick sc 8 in magic circle R1: sc, inc; around (12) R2-9: sc around (12) FO and leave a long tail for sewing Firecracker with blue: sc 6 in magic circle R1: inc; around (12) R2: sc, inc; around (18) R3:inc, sc in next 2 sts; around (24) R4: sc, hdc, 2dc, 2dc, hdc, sc; rep 4x (32) R5: sC in BLO (32) R6-13: sc around (32) switch to white R14-22: sc around (32) switch to red R23-30: sc around (32) stuff firmly and continue to stuff as you go you can also place the eyes now R31: 2sc, 2dec, 4sc, 2dec, 4sc, 2dec, 4sc, 2dec (24) R32:sc around (24) R33: 2sc, dec (4sc, dec; around) (20) R34: sc, dec, 3sc, dec, 3sc, dec, 3sc, dec, 2sc (16) R35-36:sc around (16) R37: dec, sc; around, sc in last st (11) R38: 1sc; then dec around (6) R39: hdc; FO and stitch closed (the hdc will cover the small opening left at the top) Assembly: sew the stick onto the bottom of the popsicle, do not stuff it sew the face on with the black embroidery thread and needle if you would like to add blush to the cheeks, Use DILUTED red paint test on a towel and add the "blush" very slowly as it is impossible to get off if you put too much!

R15: sc around (18) R16:dec, sc; around (12) R17: sc around (12) R18: dec around (6) FO and weave top closed Assembly: Usina a runnina stitch from one side of the popsicle to anotl un tho'middlo ?croatina tho "doublo ponsiclo" offoct.'
