Beginner Pattern: Body(Make 2) With MC ch 41 Row 1) sc in second chain from hook and each ch across, ch1 turn (40 sts) Rows 2-4) sc in each st across Row 5-6) sc into the next 25 st, ch1 turn (25 sts) Row 7) sl st into the next 7 st, sc into the next 18 st, ch1 turn (18 sts) Row 8) sc into the next 18 st, ch1 turn Row 9) sc2tog, sc in the next 14 sts, sc2tog, ch1 turn (16 st) Row 10) sc into the next 16 sts, ch1 turn Row 11) sc2tog, sc into the next 12 sts, sc2tog, ch1 turn (14 sts) Row 12) Sc into the next 14 sts, ch1 turn Row 13) sc2tog, sc into the next 10 sts, sc2tog, ch1 turn (12 sts) Row 14) sc into the next 12 sts, ch1 turn Row 15) sc2tog, sc into the next 8 sts, sc2tog (10 sts) Fasten off yarn leaving a very long tail for seaming the two sides together Legs(make 4) worked in continuous rounds, May want to place a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round. With Mc, make a magic loop and work 5 sc into it Rnd 1) 2 sc in each st around(10 sts) Rnd 2-6) sc around, sl st into first stitch and fasten off leaving a long tail for seaming. Spine(Make 1) With CC ch 21 Row 1-3) sk 1st st and sc across, sh1 turn (20 sts) Row 4) \*sc in the next 2 sts, ch3\* repeat from \*to\* to end, ending with a sl st into last st, Fasten off leaving a long tail for seaming.
Joining:
Seam the two sides of the body together using whipstitch leaving an opening for stuffing,turn the dino body inside out stuff and finish seaming. Next, whipstitch the spine onto the large rounded part of the dinos body using the picture as a guide. Stuff each of the 4 feet a little and whipstitch them onto the bottom of the dinos body using the picture as a guide.If you want you can sew on little eyes either with buttons or thread :-) Weave in all ends and enjoy!
