Once you're back around,(sl st, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st) in each petal around. Fasten off and leave a long tail to stitch to hat. Sew on the button that you picked for the flower.
Cheeks:
In magic circle with the light pink yarn, crochet 6 HDC. Pull the tail to tighten the circle. In the first hdc made, crochet 2 sc. Crochet 2 sc in each hdc around. Fasten off and weave in ends. (12 sC)
Hat assembly:
First, take the circle you made for the hair and place it on top of the buff color hat you made. You're going to want to line it up so that the front of the hair forms "curved bangs", where it's higher on one side to form these bangs and the hair is lower in the back of the hat. See my picture at the top of the pattern for placement ideas. Stitch this hair down around the edge of the hair. Next, take one set of the curly doggie ears and stitch it down on top to the left of the center. Do the same with the other set of curly doggie ears to the right of the center. Now, stitch your flowers in front of each doggie ear, as pictured above. Take the two black buttons and stitch them on the face for the eyes. Stitch down the two pink cheeks. With the black yarn, stitch her smile as shown. Stitch eyelashes beside each eye. Now you should have a feeling loopsy hat. :) @Andrea Collins & Hip Hip Crochet
