See photo for placement. Tail tip - Insert hook into side of st beneath tip of tail and with white crochet thread work 2 surface ch up to tip and 2 surface ch down from tip. (see photo) Alternatively, use sewing needle to satin stitch the tail tip with white crochet thread. Tum-tum - With white crochet thread and sewing needle, satin stitch an oval shape on the cat's belly. (see photo) Blaze - With white crochet thread and sewing needle, straight stitch an inverted filled triangle shape between the cat's eyes. (see photo)
Face
Eye - Due to the nature of the way the beads are attached, it will be necessary to correct the positioning of the eyes or the cat willappear cock-eyed. With white crochet thread and sewing needle, use straight stitches to anchor the eyes into a less goofy expression. If prefered, work a stich diagonally from the outer edge of each eye, through the beads to lift the outer corners of the eyes to create a more “angry” angle as in the photo. Eyebrows - With Copper Mist crochet thread and sewing needle, work straight stitches diagonally across upper outer edge of each eye, forming eyelids. (see photo) Nose - With hot pink crochet thread and sewing needle, sew a loose straight stitch from the inside corner of one eye to the inside corner of the other eye, tack that stitch with a very small straight stitch at a point between and below the the eyes, forming a “V for the cat's nose. (see photo) Mouth - With hot pink crochet thread and sewing needle, sew a loose straight stitch from under and beneath one eye to the same point under the other eye, tack that stitch with a very small straight stitch at a point just beneath the point of the pink nose, forming a downward curving line for the cat's mouth. Assembly
With sewing needle, use tail of red crochet thread to sew waddle beneath chin of cat (see photo) Loosely tie or sew a short length of victory red thread around cat's neck as a collar.
