Row 1-Wk sc into second chain from the hk. Sc. Hdc 2. Dc 5. Hdc 2. Sc 3. Hdc 2. Dc 5. Hdc 2. Sc 2. Ch 1. Turn. Row 2 - Sc 2. Hdc 2. Dc 5. Hdc 2. Sc 3. Hdc 2. Dc 5. Hdc 2. Sc 2. Ch 1. Turn. Row 3 - 5 - Repeat row 2. (Row 5 should not be turned after you have finished) You will notice that the overall shape of the product is starting to take place around row3. This is fine continue with the instructions. Now you will work sc's all the way around the eye mask. The following directions will explain howI do this along with the trim. You will just have just finished row 5 and ch 1. Now you willsc 25. Working along the side of the eye mask you will evenly sc 4. Now working along the other “width" side of the mask sc 25. Going down the last side of the mask you willned to evenly sc 4. Ss to the the first sc. You now have 58 sc's going around the entire mask. For the finishing trim you will need to reverse sc (see link on page 1) 58 times and then invisible join. Weave in tails. See photos for ribbon/yarn instructions for mask ties.
These arebothweaved throughonthesidefthemask,theyarnhowever,onceeaved,isbraided and then knotted. Make sure that your ribbon and/oryarn is long enough so that it can be tied in a bow.
