Instructions
Start: Cast on: 33 (41) sts. 1 row: p1, k4, \*p3, k5\*; rep from \* to \* 3 (4) times, p3, k1. 2 row: sl 1st st purlwise, \*k3, p5\*; rep from \* to \* 3 (4) times, p4, k1. 3 - 22 row: rep rows 1-2 15 times. 23 row: sl 1st st purlwise, cdd, k1, p3, \*k1, ddc, k1, p3\*; rep from \* to \* 3 (4) tin 24, 26, 28 row: sl 1st st purlwise, k on k sts and p on p sts, k last st. 25 row: sl 1st st purlwise, k2, cdd purlwise, \*k3, cdd purlwise\*; rep from \* to \* 3 (4), k last st. 27 row: \*cdd, p1\*; rep from \* to \* along, k last st. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail: weave yarn through all remaining sts, pull tight to close the top hole and repeat weaving once. Then use the remaining yarn to seam the hat sides.
