Instructions For Pumkin Head Dress: With Orange, Ch 45 , join to form ring (be careful not to twist chain while joining) Then Ch2 Rnd 1: 1 Hdc in same sp as beg ch 2, 1 hdc in next ch and in each ch around, join with sl st to beginning ch-2 (1 ch 2 and 45 hdcs) \*\*In the next rounds you will be working around the front post (FP) and back post (BP) of each Half double crochet (Hdc) FP = Front Post of a stitch BP = Back Post of a stitch Explanation: No matter what stitch you are using, It's the same front to back , or back to front, working around the post of the previous stitches. In this example It's the (Hdc) or half double crochet \*FPHdc= front post of the half double crochet \*To Work a (FPhdc): Yarn over, insert hook from front to back to front around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook. \*BPHdc=back post of the half double crochet \* To Work a (BPhdc): Yarn over insert hook from front to front to back around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook. Rnd 2: \*1 Hdc around (FP) of next hdc, 1 Hdc around (BP) of next Hdc\*, repeat \*to\* around, join with sl st to beginning ch-2
Increase rnds:
Rnd 3: ch 2, \*1 hdc around (FP) , 2 hdc around (BP) \* repeat \* to \* around. Join to beg ch 2 Rnds 4-6: ch 2, \*1 hdc around the next (FP), 1 hdc around each of the next 2 (BP)\* repeat from \* to \* around. join to beg ch 2
Decrease rnds:
Rnds 7: ch 2, \*1 Hdc around (FP) of next hdc, skip next (BP) and 1 Hdc around next (BP) [decrease made] \*, repeat \*to\* around, join with sl st to beginning ch-2 Rnd 8-12: Repeat Rnd 2

Continued:
At the end of Rnd 12 FO Orange and attach Brown.
Or you can keep going with Orange and make the dress one solid color which I had planned to do it in all Orange but I ran out and I had to do a color change.
Rnds 13-16: With Brown. Or Orange
Ch 2, 1 Hdc in the same sp as beg ch 2, 1 Hdc in top of each Hdc around, join with sl st to beginning ch-2, then Ch 2\* ; repeat \*to\* for remaining rounds, Decrease rnd: Rnd 17: ch 2. 1 hdc in same sp as ch 2, 1 hdc in next 3 sts (5hdc) \*Hdc next 2 sts togetheher (1 decrease made), 1 hdc in ea of next 5 sts\* repeat \* to \* around until you reach last 2 sts, 1 hdc in each of the last 2 sts, sl st to beg ch 2. At the end of round 17 DO NOT ch 2! Rnd 18: ch 1, 1 sc in same sp as ch 1 and 1 sc in ea st around, FO. Optional Green Leaves: With Lime Green, Ch 20, Rnd 1: 3 sc in 2 ch from hook, 3 sc in each of the next 4 chs, 1 sc in ea of remaining chs, ch 3 turn. Rnd 2: 1Dc in each of the sc (5dc) sl st in next st, FO Leave a long tail to sew to dress.
