Hat is made in circles. Chains in the beginning of row is counted as sc or dc.
1. Ch4, join into circle 2. ch1, sc8 into circle, join round, (9) 3. ch3, dc2 into every sc you have on previous row, join round (18) 4. ch3, \*dc2 into next dc, dc\*, dc2 into last dc, join round 5. ch3, dc, \*dc2 into same dc, dc2\* join round 6. ch3, dc all, join round 7. repeat row 6 three/four more times (depends on your gauge, try it on, it should cover ears) 8. ch1, sc all, join round 9. ch1, \*sc2 into one sc, sc\*, sc 2 into one sc, join round 10. ch1, sc all, join round 11. repeat row 10 if you want
