\*I'm a lefty, so if you are right-handed your flap will end up on the right side\* Directions are given in US terms. Supplies Needed: 3 - %" buttons Hook, Yarn Needle, Scissors, Etc. Sizes: Infant to Toddler Size G-4.5mm - Complete Rounds 1-3 as directed skipping rounds 4 & 5, complete as rounds 6 to 13; Toddler to Small Child Size H-5.0mm - Complete Rounds 1-4 as directed skipping round 5, complete as rounds 6-13; Children 8 and up to adult Size I-6.0mm Completing all rounds. Stitches Used: dc \~ Double Crochet; sc \~ Single Crochet fpdc \~ Front Post Double Crochet; bpdc \~ Back Post Double Crochet; hdc \~ Half Double Crochet; st \~ stitch; Directions are the same for all sizes; Chain 2 is the first stitch for all roundsexcept round 8, 12 & 13, and counts as first dc stitch - Not noted in patternWith main color; Chain 4, join with a slit st to first chain to form a ring. Round 1: 11 dc into center of ring. (12) Round 2: 2 dc in each st around. (24) Round 3: 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in next st. Repeat around. (36) Rounds 4: 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st. Repeat this around (48) Round 5: 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st 1in the next st. Repeat this around (60) Round 6 & 7: 1 dc in each st around (60) Round 8: chain 8 to form the button flap, dc in 2nd chain, & in the remaining chains of the button flap, continue to main beanie; dc in the next st. Repeat around. TURN Rows 9-13 are worked up button flap just created Round 9: 1 fpdc in next st. Repeat around. TURN Round 10: Complete as round 8 TURN Round 11: Complete as round 9 TURN Round 12: Chain 1; 1 hdc in the next st. Repeat around. TURN Round 13: Change to Accent Color; Chan 1, 1 sc in each stitch around. Tie off, and weave in ends. Close Button Flap - Attach Buttons - Enjoy You're done. Congratulations!
