South Park Watch Caps
Two simple, yet fun, pom-pon watch-style caps, inspired by the infamous Stan and Cartman from the hit comedy "South Park". Make a matching set for your favorite double-trouble duo, or just bring out the (somewhat demented) kid in you when you don your madefor-animated-TV hats.

Difficulty EASY Fiber MEDIUM Worsted (12 WPl) quality yarn. Approximately 175yds/160m inMC, 75 yds/68m in CC. Sample project was crocheted using Plymouth Encore Chunky ( $75\%$ acrylic $125\%$ wool).

Hat
worked in rounds. hdc-inc $=2$ hdc. $\mathbf{M}\mathbf{C}=$ main color (blue for Stan, Teal for Cartman), ${\mathrm{C}}{\mathrm{C}}=$ contrast color (red for Stan, Yellow for Cartman) Rnd 1. With MC, ch 3, 12 hdc in 3d ch from hook. Rnd 2. $^*_{\mathbf{I}}$ hdc, hdc-inc\* repeat to end, join to top of ch $^{\cdot2}$ (18 hdc). Rnd 3. Ch 2, $^*2$ hdc, hdc-inc\*, repeat to end, join to top of ch-2 (24 hdc). Rnd 4. Ch 2, $^{*}3$ hdc,hdc-inc\*, repeat to end, join to top of ch-2 (30 hdc). Rnd 5. Ch 2, $^{*}4$ hdc, hdc-inc\*, repeat to end, join to top of ch-2 (36 hdc). Rnd 6. Ch 2, $^*\xi$ hdc, hdc-inc\*, repeat to end, join to top of $c\mathbf{h}{-}2$ (42 hdc). Rnd 7. Pom-Pon
Create a $_{2^{-}4}{}^{\circ}(_{5^{-}\mathrm{IOCm})}$ pom-pon in CC using a pom-pon maker or a piece of sturdy cardboard. If using cardboard, wrap yarn around the cardboard 6o-10o times. Carefully remove the loops from the cardboard. With a 1'/3ocm length of CC, tie a knot in the center of the loop bundle. Cut the ends of the loops and fuff the finished pom-pon.
Finishing
Using the tail ends from the pom-pon, attach the pom-pon to the top of the hat. Weave in remaining ends.
