Gauge:
According to yarn: 5,5 st. per inch [22 st = 10 cm] on needles US size 6 [4 mm]
Knitting:
Mark the yarn halfway and when knitting, make the keyhole when you reach the marker. At that point you will know where the middle of the scarf is and how wide the keyhole should be. Also, this way all the yarn will be used.

If you want to make your scarf longer: cast on more st. Work according to the scedule below. For the keyhole: after 22 sts (is 4 inch) bind off 20 sts.
