MATERIALS
Valley Yarns Amherst [1 $00\%$ merino wool; 109 yd/104m per 50g skein]; color:natural; 3skeins Recommended needle size: 1 set US #8 circular needles 1 set US #8 double point needles GAUGE Gauge: 21 sts/26 rows $=4^{\ast}$ in stockinette stitch on $\#8$ needles.
PATTERN NOTES
SK2P: Slip 1 knitwise, k2tog, pass slipped st over. 2 sts decreased. S3K: Slip 3 knitwise, k3tog. 2 sts decreased. MB: Make bobble. [K into front, then back, then front, then back, then front again] of next st: 1 st increased to 5 sts. Turn work, p5; turn work, k5; turn work, p2tog, p1, p2tog; turn work, SK2P. 1 st remains.
DIRECTIONS
Cast on 96 sts with the circular needles. Join to work in the round. Work in k1 p1 ribbing for 1.5". Increase round: [K1, m1, m1] to end (160 sts). Pm.
Bobble Pattern
Plain round: k5, yo, k3, ssk. Repeat to end. Bobble round: k1, MB, k3, yo, k2, yo, s3k. Repeat to end. Work 3 plain rounds, then 1 bobble round. Repeat 4 more times.
Decrease Rounds
Work with the circular needles, switching to the double point needles when there are two few stitches for the circular needles. Round 1: k4, yo, k3, SK2P. Repeat to end (144 sts remaining). Round 2: k4, yo, k3, ssk. Repeat to end (144 sts remaining). Round 3: k3, yo, k3, SK2P. Repeat to end (128 sts remaining). Round 4: MB, k2, yo, k2, yo, s3k. Repeat to end (128 sts remaining). Round 5: k2, yo, k3, SK2P. Repeat to end (112 sts remaining). Round 6: k2, yo, k3, ssk. Repeat to end (112 sts remaining). Round 7: k2, yo, k2, SK2P. Repeat to end (96 sts remaining).
