Worsted weight yarn in MC (purple) [30 yds.] Worsted weight yarn in CC (white) [15 yds.] US size G (4mm) hook Stitch marker Poly-fil or other stuffing Tapestry needle

Gauge:

Not important as long as you have a tight fabric

Abbreviations:

Ch - Chain Sc - Single crochet Sl st - Slip stitch Sk - Skip Sc2tog - Single crochet 2 together

Pattern:

Body (make 2): With MC, ch 41 Row 1) sc into the second ch and each ch across, ch1, turn (40 sts) Rows 2-4) sc in each st across, ch1, turn Rows 5-6) sc25, ch1, turn (25 sts) Row 7) sl st in the next 7 sts, sc18, ch1, turn (18 sts) Row 8) sc18, ch1, turn Row 9) sc2tog, sc14, sc2tog, ch1, turn (16 sts) Row 10) sc16, ch1, turn Row 11) sc2tog, sc12, sc2tog, ch1, turn (14 sts) Row 13) sc2tog, sc10, sc2tog, ch1, turn (12 sts) Row 14) sc 12, ch1, turn Row 15) sc2tog, sc8, sc2tog (10 sts) Fasten off yarn leaving a long tail for seaming Legs (make 4): With MC, make a magic loop and work 5 sc into it Rnd 1) 2 sc in each st around (10 sts) Rnd 2) Sc 10, sl st in first st Fasten off yarn leaving a long tail for seaming ? Spine (make 1): With CC, ch 21 Row 1) sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, ch 1, turn (20 sts) Row 2) \*Sc2, ch3\* across, ending with a sl st in last st Fasten off leaving a long tail for seaming

Joining:

Whipstitch the two sides together leaving a small opening for stuffing. Turn the body inside out, stuff, and finish seaming. Using the picture as a guide, stitch spine onto the top of the body, stuff feet and stitch onto base of body. Weave in all ends.
