These lace laurel leaves give comfort and warmth without turning you into a tree. Yarn —- four balls of Debbie Bliss alpaca silk or any yarn youd like to use. Since it's a scarf. you can take liberties with the gauge and final size. This scarfis 67 inches long and 7inches wide. Needles — US 7,4.5 mm,for a gauge of four stitches in an inch and four rows in an inch.

Cast on 30 stitches. Repeat the next 24 rows 12 times, or until the scarf is a long as you want itto be. At the end, bind off and weave in ends. P2tog— Purl two stitches together Inc1 —- Knit into the front and the back ofthe same stitch. Yo — Yarn over. Wrap the yarn over the right hand needle. Inc1 ps — Purl into the front and the back ofthe same stitch. Ssk —\~ Slip, slip, knit. Slip each of the next two stitches knitwise onto the right-hand needle.
