Materials:

· 1 hank Cascade Yarns Magnum Paints (9oz/250g ea approx. 123yds/112m) in #9726 ocean mix · Size US 15 (10mm) 24" Circular Knitting Needle · Stitch Marker · Cable Needle · Tapestry Needle

Gauge:

· 16 sts and 12 rows/4" in cable pattern blocked (gauge is not imperative)

Approximate Finished Size:

· 24" circumference x 7.5" high

Abbreviations:

· Pm: place marker · Cn: cable needle · BOR: Beginning of round · C3 over 3 right: sl 3 to CN, hold to back, k3, k3 from cn · C3 over 3 left: sl 3 to CN, hold to front, k3, k3 fromcn

Cable Pattern:

· Row 1,2,4, 5,6 and 8: knit across · Row 3: sl 3 sts, move marker to the left 3 sts for new BOR, \*c3 over 3 right\* repeat from \* to end of round until 6 sts remain, c3 over 3 right, move marker to the right 3 sts back to original BOR · Row 7: \*c3 over 3 left\* repeat from \* to end of round · Repeat rows 1-8 for pattern

Instructions:

· CO 84 sts, pm for beginning of round, join into round · Begin chart, work rows 1-8 3 times, then rows 1-4 once or until desired height is reached. If more reps are added,another hank of yarn will be needed · Bind off loosely knitwise · Weave in all ends with tapestry needle · Block lightly by Tanis Gray for Cascade Yarns
