2 colors of a super bulky yarn, partial skeins. (I used Lion Brand Hometown USA yarn) Some black and white thread for the mouth and tooth. Size J/6.00mm Crochet Hook (use one size larger hook if your stitches are tight) Two 18mm Safety Eyes Poly-Fill or stuffing of your choice Sewing/Tapestry Needle Stitch marker

CH Chain SC Single Crochet INC. Increase DEC. Decrease FO Finish Off


Approximately 10" from head to toe.

Pieces are sewn separately and then sewn together All body parts are crocheted in the round, unless otherwise stated, so do not join at the end of each round Use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of the round, and move up as you work The “magic ring" method is used to start each piece. If you do not prefer this technique, you can start each piece using the following method: CH 2, then SC 6x into the second chain away from the hook. SL ST to join the round. This creates round 1.

BODY:
Color A: (worked in rows, not in the round.) 1.CH11 2. SC in 2nd CH from hook, and in each across. CH 1, turn. (10) 3. Repeat for 15 rows (10) FO 1st square. Repeat steps 1 -3 to make a 2nd square, do not FO the 2nd square. Insert your eyes on the first square between rows 6 & 7 about 6 stitches apart. 4. After you reach the last row of the 2nd square, place both squares together, and insert your hook through both layers of squares. SC around the edges to close them together. Before you close completely, stuff the body lightly. FO, and weave in ends.
LEGS, (MAKE 2):
Color B:
1. 6 SC in a magic ring (6) 2. INC. in each ST (12) 3. INC. every 2 (18) 4.-8. SC around (18) Stuff the foot, do not stuff the rest of the leg 9. DEC. every 8 (16) 10.-12. SC around (16) 13. DEC. every 7 (14) 14.-16. SC around (14) 17. DEC. every 6 (12) 18.-20. SC around (12) 21. DEC. every 5 (10) 22.-23. SC around (10) FO, leave tail for sewing. \*Sew the legs onto the bottom row of your body.
HORnS: (MAKE 2)
Color B:
1. 5 SC in a magic ring (5) 2. SC around (5) 3.2 SC in each ST (10) 4. SC around (10) FO, leave a tail for sewing. \*Sew your horns onto the body where you wish! No monster is alike!
ARMS (MAKE 2):
Color B:
1. 6 SC in a magic ring (6) 2. INC. in each ST (12) 3.-8. SC around (12) 9. DEC. every 5 (10) 10.-13. SC around (10) 14. DEC. every 4 (8) Stuff lightly, and do not stuff the rest of the arm. 15.-27.SC around (8) FO, leave a tail for sewing. \*Sew the arms onto the bottom sides of the body. To finish: Sew a mouth and a tooth onto your monster, about 2 rows below the eyes. And enjoy!
