Work in Single Lace Rib pattern for 12 (14, 16, 18) inches ending with a WS row (Row 2 of pattern) Bind off loosely, use a larger needle to BO if necessary. With corners together length wise (see picture) sew $1^{\prime\prime}$ closed to make arm holes. Weave in loose ends.

Border:

Cast on 13 sts with US #8 Work rows 1-14 in Wavy Border pattern untilit measures the around the cast on and bind off edge Sew on border (it may be easier to sew it on a little bit at a time while you are knitting the border so you know exactly how long to make it) Sew the ends of the border together when they meet Weave in loose ends BLOCK!
