US Size 11 (8 mm) 16" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge Stitch marker & sewing needle GAUGE 16 sts and 14 rows = 4" in feather & fan stitch, using US Size 11 (8 mm) needles
ABBREVIATIONS

FEATHER & FAN STITCH PATTERN (knit in the roUnd)
Rounds 1 and 2: Knit Round 3: K 2tog (3) times, \*yo, k1 (6) times, K2tog (6) times, rep from \*, ending k2tog (3) times. Round 4:Purl. NOTES The cowl is worked in the round.
DIRECTIONS
Cast on 90 sts ad join carefully in the round, being careful not to twist. Begin Feather & Fan stitch pattern and work until piece is approximately 10" in length. Bind off all sts loosely.
