Knit fairly tightly using a solid, medium gray yarn. Gauge is not that important. Thicker yarn and larger needles willcreate a larger puddle jumper, thinner yarn and smaller needles a smaller puddle jumper. I used a long-tail cast on and started with a purl (wrong-side row) but do whatever works best for you. Knit window with any contrast color yarn that seems appropriate for a window - I used a variegated blue yarn. This is not an exact replica of a puddle jumper! It's just for fun.
