Materials
Black Worsted White Worsted Red Worsted Yellow Worsted G Hook Yarn Needle Abbreviations sC- single crochet hdc- half double crochet dc-double crochet sc2tog- single crochet 2 together (decrease) SS- slip stitch ch- chain st- stitch
Pattern
With G hook and red, ch 13 Row 1 sc2tog, sc 8, sc2tog, ch 1, turn Row 2 sc in each, ch 1, turn Row 3 sc in 9, 2sc in last st, ch 1, turn Row 4 sc2tog, sc across, ch3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, turn Row 5 sc 10 across, ss in last, DO NOT FASTEN OFF, pull a loop through (ch1) and remove hook(will return to work it in a little bit) Row 6 join white in last sc stitch (the one before the ss, see photo below) sc in same stitch and next 9, ch 1, turn
Row 7-8 sc across, ch1, turn Row 9 sc, hdc, dc next 2, hdc, sc to end, ch 1, turn Row 10 sc 5, hdc, dc next 2, hdc, ss in last, fasten off. Insert hook back through red ch from row 5, ss into next st, sc into side of white and up to first corner, sc 2 into corner, hdc in next 5 st, sc to end with 2 sc in the next corner, sc into same red stitch as white (see photo) and next, ch 4, turn, sc into 2nd, 3rd and 4th ch, ss to piece and fasten off.
TIRE
Make a magic circle (or ch 2, work 9 sc into 2nd ch from hook) and sc 9 into loop, join and pull closed. Ch 1, 2hdc in each st around, join, and fasten off. Use photo as a guide and sew on as shown (behind main piece in front of fender piece).
OTHER TIRE
Join black to 3rd stitch from bottom right corner of piece (see photo below), sc in same st and next 4, working around corner, ch1, turn, 2sc in each black st, ss into next red stitch and fasten off.
Using black and turquoise/blue, embroider eyes as shown in photo. Using white, embroider mouth, headlights, and wheel wall. Using yellow, stitch into center of headlights. Finished!
