SHASHLIK
By Valentina Cosciani (Tibisay)

An asymmetric scarf with a really unconventional shape, on one side it has a simple lace pattern that enlives the pattern. It can be realized either short, like a pleasant scarf, or long, like a wrapping shawl!
Finished measurements:
This scarf can be worked in two different sizes using just one or two skeins. The longer version is in brackets. 190 cm - 75,5" along the longer side and 82 cm - 32,5" along the shorter side for shorter version. (240 cm - 95,5" along the longer side and 112 cm - 44" along the shorter side for longer version).
Yarn and Needles:
Coats Cucirini
ROWAN Fine Art(45%wool,20%mohair, 25% polyamide, 10% silk- 400 m - 437 yards for 100 gr -3.53 ounces skein),1 (2) skeins. Needles 3.5 mm - US 4. Tapestry needle. l stitch marker.
Gauge:
21 sts x 50 rows = 10 cm - 4" in garter stitch NoT blocked. 16 sts x 33 rows = 10 cm - 4" in garter stitch blocked. In fact the pattern is not essential because, as the knitting begins from the narrowest part, it's very simple to adjust the shawl length according to the desired gauge.
