Silver Evening Bag

The size of the bag is $7.5^{\prime\prime}\times4^{\prime\prime}\times2^{\prime\prime}$ We used Patons Brilliant silver yarn for the external part of the bag and white cotton yarn (Sugar N Cream or mill ends sold by pound in A.C. Moore) for the lining. We knitted the bag with bamboo needles #0 ( $2\mathsf{\ m m}$ ) and #2 (3 mm).

Front, Back and Lining (1 detail)
:Cast on 25 stitches using silver yarn (1 thread) and needles #2. Bottom and Sides (2 details)
·The bottom should hold the shape of the bag thus it needs to be thick. We used 2 threads and needles #2. ·Cast on 11 stitches. ·All rows: all Knits. Knit $4^{\prime\prime}$ then start reducing stitches. Make sure you knitted enough to cover the bottom and rounded corners. ·Gradually reduce the number of stitches by knitting 2 stitches together.

·Sew 2 details together on the bottom.
Handles (2 details)
·Cast on 6 stitches using silver yarn (1 thread) and needles $\#0$ ·All Rows: $({\tt1P},{\tt1K})^{*}$ ·Knit handles $11^{\prime}$ long. ·Sew all partstogether.
