Aouda - a MKAL pattern

Pattern illustration

Aouda is an Indian princess. In fact, she is a character in Jules Verne's book, "Around the world in 80 days". Inspiration for this pattern came from an invitation to join a worldwide blog tour, representing my homeland, Greece. The colours of the hand-dyed yarn I'm using to knit my first sample suggest the warmth and exuberance of India. I hope you'll enjoy knitting and wearing this versatile scarf. Happy knitting!

Repeat rows 1-12 for as long as you wish. Work 2 rows in garter st and bind off all sts very loosely!! I always recommend washing and fearless blocking to bring up the best of the lace pattern! Knit, wear and enjoy!!
