Cherry:
Sc 6 in MC. The initial tail will be used to make the stalk of the cherry. Row 1: Sc 2 in each st (12). Row 2-4: Sc 1 in each st, all around. (12) Row 5: (Sc 1 in next st, Sc2tog in next) x 4. (8) Finish off, leaving a long tail for closing the opening and attaching to the ice cream. \*Make sure you have the right side out. It tends to invert as you crochet it, so you may have to flip it inside out. Pull the initial tail out, tie a knot in the tip and cut of the rest.\*
Whipped Cream:
Sc 6 in MC Row 1: Sc 3 in each st. (18) Row 2: Sc 3 in each st. (54) Row 3: Sc in each st. (162)
Chocolate Syrup:
Sc 6 in MC Row 1: Sc 2 in each st. (12) Row 2: (2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next) x 6. (18) You are going to start making one “dripping' of the syrup\* Row 3: Sl.st. in first stitch, ch 8, turn, skip one, sc 7 down the chain. sl.st onto the next sc of the initial circle. Row 4: sc in next st. sl.st. ch 4, turn, skip one, sc 3 down the chain. sl.st onto the next sc of the initial circle.

Continue this way. Vary in length the “drippings of syrup" trying to make them a bit random, for no chocolate syrup is ever perfectly symmetrical.
Pattern: Assembly:
\* If you are sewing the syrup onto your ice cream scoop, do so before filling it in. It is also possible afterwards, but it is harder. \* If you want it to rattle, you can add in 2 jingle bells, but the stuffing will muffle it if it is not packed into a small plastic box. \* Whip stitch together the ice cream scoop and the ice cream cone, filling in with poly-fil as the closure emerges. Finish whip stitching together until closed. \* Fill in the cherry with poly-fil, and sew the closure shut. Then sew it on. \* Make as many combinations as you like, and enjoy your dessert!
