Cake:
1. 6 sc in magic ring, join pulling to close but leaving a gap large enough to fit earbud pluggy thing through. (6 sc) 2. Ch 1, 2 sc in each stitch around. join (12 sc) 3. Ch 1, sc same stitch, 2 sc next stitch around. join. (18 sc) 4. BLO ch 1, sc in each stitch around. join. (18 sc) 5. Ch 1, FPhdc, BPHDC in each st around.join. (18 hdc) 6. Ch 1,\*fphdc in same st as join, bphdc next st repeat around. join. (9 hdc, 9 fphdc) 7. Repeat row 6. NOW START FROSTING 8. With frosting color ch 1. in sc in each st around. 9. Ch 1 in BLO sc in each st around increasing twice (20) 10.Ch 1, sc in each st around increasing twice (22) 11.Ch 1, sc in each st around increasing twice (24) 12.Ch 1, hdc in next st, ch 1, skip next stitch, hdc in next stitch, ch 1 skip next stitch around. join. fasten off weave in end. 13.0n remaining loops join yarn with a slip stitch, (the frosting should be closest to you and the cake should be away from you) [dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in next st] sl st in next st, repeat around. 9 frosting ripples. 14.Cord, chain 45. Weave through eyelets, place both ends through a pony bead and knot the two ends together. Glue pom-poms onto frosting if desired.
Sushi Earbud Cozy:

"f" crochet hook, pony bead, black, varigated green, orange, white worsted weight yarn (like Redheart Supersaver) 1. With black ch 18, join without twisting. ch 1, sc in each st around, (18) 2. Ch 1 sc in each st around join 3. Repeat row 2 4. Repeat row 2 5. Repeat row 2 6. Repeat row 2 7. In BLO with white sc in each stitch around. (18) fasten off white, weave in ends. 8. With green in both loops [sc , ch 1, sk next st] 6 times (6 sc, 6 spaces); attach orange, continue pattern for 3 times (3 sc, 3 spaces) join, fasten off. weave in all ends. 9. Now to make the bottom: with green make 4 sc into a magic loop, switch to orange and make 2 sc. Join. 10.With green chain 1, 2 sc in each of next 4 stitches, switch to orange, 2 sc in each of next 2 stitches. join. fasten off orange and green. (12) 11.With white, sc next st, 2 sc in next st around. (18) join, fasten off. leaving a long tail for sewing. 12.Weave in ends (leaving white tail for sewing) Sew bottom to sushi roll neatly on BLO for black. weave and clip any ends. 13.Chain 35, weave through eyelets (ch 1 spaces) around top. You wil most likely end up with an extra eyelet. Just ignore it :) It cinches up like the cupcake, but lays flat.
