This pattern is worked from the bottom up. Supplies;

Hooks; 1/9-5.50mm, G/6-4.25 mm, E/4-3.50 mm Yarn; 1 ball Loops and Threads Haze in color of your choice (l used Drift Wood), small amount Worsted weight in yellow or orange Thread or Paint (l used glitter glue) for eyes Stitch marker
Body
With Haze and I hook Rnd 1: Ch2, 4 sc in 2nd Ch from hook. Sl st to 1st Sc. (4 Sc) Rnd 2: Ch 1, 3 sc in same st as join. (2 sc in next st, 3 sc in next st) repeat around join with sl st to 1st sc. (10 sc) Rnd 3: Ch 1,sc in same st as join, sc in each sc around join with sl st to 1st sc (11 sc) Rnd 4: Ch 1,sc in same st as join, sc in each sc around join with sl st to 1"t sc (12 sc) Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same st as join (dec. over next 2 st, sc in next st) repeat around, (8 sc) Rnd 6: sc in each st around (8 sc) Stuff body Rnd 7: working in front loops only Ch 1, sc in each st around (8 sc) Rnd 8: working in both loops sc in each st around (8 sc) Rnd 9: working in both loops (sc in next st, dec. over next 2 st) repeat around (6 sc) Stuff head Rnd 10: working in both loops sc in each st around (6 sc) Sc next 2 st tog. Ch 1,turn sc edges tog. FO. Weave in ends.
Wings (make 2)
With Haze and G hook Ch 6, sc in 4th ch from hook, hdc in next st, dc in next st, FO and sew to body using picture as a guide.
Tail
With Haze and G hook Ch 3, hdc in 2nd Ch from hook, hdc in next st, FO and sew to back of body
Beak
With yellow or orange and E hook Ch 3, sl st in 3rd Ch from hook, FO and sew to face
