Donna's Delight: A Quick Knit Cowl Pattern for Art Yarns with Personality and Style, Perfect for Fashion Statements and Warmth

Donna's Delight!

The Perfectly Perfect Cowl for Yarns Plentiful in Personality!

Keep It Simple!

Donna's Delight is the perfect project for the one-of-a-kind yarns that we love to love! This cowl is a quick knit using medium to super-bulky Art Yarns and it makes a big statement. Keep in mind, the thicker your yarn is, the fewer stitches you should cast on. Even as few as four stitches on size 19 needles for Mega-Super-Bulky yarn.

Materials Needed:

US size 15- 19 knitting needles 2 to 3 ounces of Art Yarn Yarn Needle for sewing & weaving ends

Directions:

Using long-tail cast-on 12 stitches, using the long tail method, leave a nice long tail. Knit all stitches and all rows. For added interest, randomly do a row of extended knit stitches. Cast off. Sew ends together using tail, feel free to put a twist in the fabric before sewing.

Extended Knit Stitch:

Insert your right needle into your next stitch, wrap the working yarn around both needles, next wrap your right needle, pull yarn through both loops. This makes a nice large stitch, be sure to do the entire row the same.
