Finished Size: Approximately 3.5 inches tall Skill Level: Beginner Supplies Needed: Your choice of color soft worsted weight, 1 oz (l used Caron Simply Soft) Size H/8 5mm hook Stitch marker Of course you could also use a different weight yarn and smaller or larger hook for a smaller or larger size pouch. This mini pocket pouch is made from soft acrylic yarn and is meant to be worn over the neck. It falls about mid-chest. You or your child's tiny treasures will be secure due to the 2 inch opening and tight stitch. And your hands stay free! The design has a gentle ridge you can even hang small items to. The widest part of the bag is 3 inches. You can always add more stitches to make the opening larger. To make it so you can strap it across the body, add more to the chain at the end. Keep adding chains until the length is where you want it. The neck pouch is very handy when you have no pockets but need to stash some cash, house key, or other small item. It could probably be adjusted to fit cell phones. The top is open for easy access but will not fall out when you bend over due to the shaping. The pouch is soft around the neck, very light and can fit inside your shirt. You can make one to match any outfit pretty quickly. They also make great little gifts or party favors. This little pouch is perfect for kids and adults. The uses are almost endless.
