Slip knot, ch 2, 10 sc into slip knot, sc to join(mnr). Tighten knot and fasten. Round 2: Sc in same st, 2 sc in ea st around, sc to join(mnr). Round 3: Sc in ea st around. Sc to join(mnr). Round 4: Sc in same st. \*Sc in next 2 sts, 2 Sc in next st\* Repeat from \* to \* around. Sc to join(mnr). Round 5: Sc in ea st around. Sc to join(mnr). Round 6: Sc in same st. \*Sc in next 3 sts, 2 Sc in next st\* Repeat from \* to \* around. Sc to join(mnr). Round 7: Sc in ea st around. Sc to join(mnr). Fasten in place with same color yarn by simply sewing a few quick stitch in from one side of hat to other, being sure to catch to center(slip knot) with the yarn to hold in place. Be sure to start and finish on inside of hat to hide knots! Choose pattern. Using color required for Pattern(Listed Below). Cut approx 42 (54) inches. With darning needle, sew in detail around rim of hat, working from right to left, starting at bottom of hat edge. (Do not knot end until done.) Pulling needle through bottom of st to top, over stitch and through bottom in next st evenly around. Knot ends together.
Continue on for desired Hat Pattern
Make base in color'Marine' and Rim Trim in Color'Baby Lettuce'. Round 1:Using Same color as Rim Trim. Color'Baby Lettuce' Ch 4. Ss in beg ch to join. Ch 1, 4 sc into ring, sc to join(mnr). Round 2: Ss in same st, ( sc,ss) in ea st around, ss to join(mnr). Round3: (Dc,tr,dc) in next st. \*Ss in next st, (dc,tr,dc) in next st\*Repeat from \* to \* around. Ss to join. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew to hat. Make 1 or 2. Position and sew to hat using tail. Sew along edge of Motif and try to 'surface sew' to hat(avoiding sewing to show on inside of hat). Knot on inside. Using same color as Motif. 'Color 'Baby Lettuce'. Using Round 19 front loops as a guide. Starting at back of hat. Ss eavenly around outside of hat, from right to left.
#2 Heart:
Make base in color'Lilac'and Rim Trim in Color'Candy Hearts'. Round 1:Using Same color as Rim Trim. Color'Candy Hearts'. Ch 4. Ss in beg ch to join. Ch 1, 4 sc into ring, sc to join(mnr). Round 2: Sc in same st, 2 sc in next 2 sts, ss in next st, 2 sc in next 2 sts, sc to join. (mnr).
Round 3:
Ss in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, (tr, dc, hdc) in next st, ss in next st, (hdc, dc, tr) in next st, 2 sc in next st, ss in next 4 sts, Ss to join. Fasten off leaving a tail to sew to hat. Make 1 or 2. Position and sew to hat using tail.
